The Go-Giver Tour
A rather extraordinary event is happening this month: it’s called The Go-Giver Tour.
Four young social-marketing entrepreneurs from Chicago—Bradley Will, Gabe Strom, Brian Tomkins and Gilbert Melott—have decided to take the Go-Giver message on the road. The four will be driving two vehicles (donated to the cause by Ford Motor Company) from Chicago to Orlando to attend this year’s “Extreme Business Makeovers” event, where they will meet my intrepid coauthor Bob Burg and our marketing partner Thom Scott, who are cohosting the event.
What’s going to happen along the way makes the trip even more interesting.
Calling their trip “The Go-Giver Tour,” the four will stop at campuses along the way to attend “Tweetups”—local meetings of Twitter aficionados. The goal, says Will, is to popularize the message of The Go-Giver among young entrepreneurs and challenge them to use it to increase their own level of success.
The four young entrepreneurs are also producing a video on the topic, and are awarding open seats in the two vehicles as prizes to those who submit the best “go-giver testimonial videos” to add to their production. For more details, go to www.GoGiverTour.com.
Is this cool, or what?

Thanks, Bradley! I’m SO sorry I can’t be there for the Orlando event — my wife and I are booked at an event out West, booked many months ago! We’ll be with you guys in spirit!
